Eric Zetterholm has managed financial operations for companies of various sizes, from small family-run enterprises with less than $100K in sales; to non-profits with $13 million in revenues; to large, multi-state companies with $500 million in sales. In addition, as a senior tax consultant with a large, international accounting firm, Mr. Zetterholm provided tax compliance, research and consulting services to the firm’s clients.
His passion, however, is to assist small, entrepreneurial businesses, their owners and families in running their companies more profitably and more efficiently. He accomplishes this goal by providing timely, proactive and innovative financial and tax services.
As an entrepreneur, Eric founded a real estate development company and certainly understands what it means to struggle during the early years of owning your own business. It also taught him that the typical model of hourly billing by professional business advisors was cost prohibitive for most new business owners.
Out of this experience was born his understanding of the need to offer the small business owner a package of professional accounting and tax services at a reasonable price.
Furthermore, he’s committed to not charging additional fees for providing answers to his clients brief questions. He wants to help his clients achieve their goals and is willing to "invest" in them so that they will be in business for many years; and yes, so that they’ll be clients for many years.
Eric spent most of his career in financial management positions, working for business owners in real-world scenarios, skillfully managing a range of operations and business models. From simple cost-reduction programs to complex financing procedures, Eric’s experience ranges from national CPA firms to small distribution companies, magazine publishers, food wholesalers, book retailers, real estate, construction and non-profits. Lastly, Eric has worked with Chambers of Commerce to develop guides to assist new business owners in navigating the regulatory mazes of federal, state and local governments.
Eric is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School where he earned his J.D. degree and the University of Tennessee where he obtained his undergraduate degree. He holds a CPA license in North Carolina, is a member of the American Institute of CPA’s, the North Carolina Association of CPA’s and the National Association of Tax Professionals.
Eric has lived in east Asheville with his wife and 5 children since 1996.
